Mission Statement

The College of Charleston Meditation Club is organized to enhance the experience of mindfulness in students, faculty and staff on campus. It is an opportunity for members to come together to learn meditative techniques and discuss the importance of living one’s life in a state of mindful awareness.

How can I get involved?

For Fall 2022, Meditation Club will meet on Thursdays from 3:10-4:00 p.m.

  • Location: Outdoors at 14 Green Way (in front of Multicultural Center); if weather doesn't permit meeting outside, we will meet inside at the same location.
  • Please bring a yoga mat or towel to sit on.
  • No previous meditation experience is required.

Come and learn various meditative techniques that have been shown to reduce stress, enhance cognitive performance, and facilitate ties with others!

The Meditation Club is also a sponsor of the Peace Initiative. To find out more about this event, check out these highlights from Peace Initiative 2022:
