conbin.txt
Description:
Conbin.txt is a SAS data step program that performs sample size calculations for independent groups and matched-pairs research designs using Yoo and Spoth’s (1993) conditional binomial method of sample size determination.  The program is applicable when planning prevention and treatment studies that entail measuring binomially distributed outcomes, such as prevalence rates and proportions.  The conditional binomial approach is statistically powerful and always produces sample size estimates that are smaller than estimates generated using conventional sample size methods.

Size: 6.3kb.
