Research Interests
I am a social psychologist who studies close relationships and the self. More specifically, my research program focuses on attitude alignment and balance theory, relational transgressions and forgiveness, and nostalgia. My interests are underlain by the notion that humans have a fundamental need to form and maintain close relationships and individuals can meet this need by acting in pro-relationship ways.
